Job Overview

In the capacity of a Network Project Manager, you will be responsible for spearheading pivotal client projects, overseeing the planning, organization, design, direction, and execution of computer network projects. Your role will entail ensuring projects are completed within the designated timelines, budgetary constraints, and scope. You will manage all facets of projects, including establishing deadlines, assigning roles, monitoring progress, and preparing comprehensive reports for senior management. Furthermore, you will engage directly with clients to confirm that deliverables align with the specified scope, budget, and timeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various teams to formulate project plans aimed at timely and budget-conscious completion, including setting schedules, targeting milestones, and establishing expectations.
  • Independently establish expectations for implementations, emphasizing quality of work to mitigate potential network failures or additional re-work.
  • Work collaboratively with teams to make informed decisions regarding project progression when faced with multiple options.
  • Act as a liaison for teams when several units are involved in a project, ensuring effective communication and synergy.
  • Monitor project status, compile management reports, and participate in meetings for project coordination.
  • Conduct quality control throughout project development to uphold standards.
  • Adjust project schedules and targets as necessary due to evolving needs or financial considerations.
  • Navigate complex billing scenarios, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with accounting on client billing inquiries.
  • Prepare and submit monthly AIA G702/G703 progress billings, ensuring adherence to contract terms and client specifications.
  • Maintain accurate and current billing records.

  • Intermediate knowledge of data networks, Wi-Fi, and Voice applications.

  • Skillful in managing multiple priorities concurrently through effective problem assessment.
  • Customer service-oriented with strong interpersonal skills, capable of addressing client needs promptly and effectively.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven with multitasking capabilities.
  • Commitment to problem resolution and knowledge sharing with team members.
  • Ability to think logically and creatively.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, network engineering, management, or a related field is preferred; alternatively, seven years of relevant experience may be accepted.
  • At least five years of customer-facing project management experience in the information technology sector; experience in the hospitality sector is advantageous.
  • A minimum of three years of experience with Aruba and Ruckus technology is required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Projects in Controlled Environments (PRINCE2) certification is considered a plus.
  • Experience with AIA Billing is preferred.
