Key Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate confidentiality agreements, leases, and various transactional documents.
- Coordinate due diligence activities for property acquisitions and sales, including the collection and organization of pertinent information.
- Assist in the preparation and management of contracts, including hotel management agreements and franchise agreements.
- Keep legal databases, checklists, and templates up to date and organized.
- Work collaboratively with attorneys and paralegals on multiple projects to meet established deadlines.
- Engage with external counsel regarding construction contracts and other legal matters.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a paralegal, ideally within a law firm or corporate legal environment.
- Proficient in real estate transactions, contract negotiation, or related fields.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Paralegal certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in the hospitality or service industry is advantageous.
