- Draft and oversee the preparation of estate planning documents including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- Assist in the administration of probate and related legal proceedings.
- Communicate effectively with clients to collect and convey pertinent information.
- Compose correspondence and legal documentation as required.
- Conduct research on state laws and local regulations pertaining to estate planning and probate matters.
- Organize and maintain client files and deadlines meticulously.
- Collaborate with team members utilizing online project management tools.
- 3-5 years of experience as an estate planning or probate paralegal.
- A degree in paralegal studies or a related field is essential.
- Paralegal certification is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with a strong capacity to learn new systems quickly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Dropbox, video conferencing, and online project management tools (specifically Microsoft Teams), as well as Clio and Wealth Counsel.
