Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced life support care to patients of all ages who are ill or injured.
- Ensure the safe transportation of patients to medical facilities.
- Support various services and events as required.
- Strong decision-making abilities in emergency situations.
- Proficient knowledge of the local street and highway systems.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Completion of a paramedic training program from an accredited institution; an Associate of Science degree is preferred.
- Previous experience in ambulance services or advanced life support preferred.
- For Ground Paramedics: Current Minnesota or Wisconsin Paramedic Certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).
- For Air Care Paramedics: Current Minnesota Paramedic Certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).
