Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of both large-scale and multiple smaller mechanical projects, guiding them from inception to completion.
- Develop and oversee project budgets to ensure cost efficiency and optimal resource management.
- Create and uphold comprehensive project schedules, coordinating personnel and resources effectively to meet established deadlines.
- Navigate local construction regulations and codes, ensuring compliance with permitting and environmental standards.
- Advocate for safety on all project sites, ensuring that work is conducted in a secure and productive manner.
- Manage simultaneous projects while demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and time management.
- Provide mentorship and constructive performance evaluations for project teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Communicate proactively with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee subcontractors to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and quality benchmarks.
- Maintain organized and compliant job sites, following all safety and environmental regulations.
- Identify and address potential challenges proactively to keep projects progressing smoothly.
- Accurately manage project materials and resources, ensuring efficient utilization throughout.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and ensure timely submission of all required reports.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership capabilities.
- In-depth understanding of relevant mechanical codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
- Ability to navigate local construction regulations, permitting, and environmental compliance.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- PMP certification (preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant project management and estimating experience within the mechanical field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical work.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
- OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to pursue).
