Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and management expertise in the execution of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects.
- Formulate and implement strategic project plans that align with both client objectives and corporate goals.
- Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Manage the bidding process by preparing proposals and negotiating contracts.
- Promote a culture of safety on project sites, ensuring adherence to regulations and best practices.
- Offer field support, coordinating resources, and addressing challenges as they arise.
- Conduct general administrative duties related to project oversight.
- Mentor and develop Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers, sharing knowledge and fostering growth.
- Travel to project sites as necessary for oversight and control.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
- At least 10 years of experience in project management with complex transmission line or substation construction projects.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheet design, formulas, and formatting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members.
- Extensive experience in high-voltage electrical systems will also be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Prior experience in electrical design of substations and switchyards is advantageous.
- Ability to pass all company and client-mandated drug and background checks.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and meet auto insurance carrier requirements.
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
