Position Summary

We are in search of a meticulous and experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Category Manager. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive expertise in healthcare services pricing structures and operational processes. This role is pivotal in steering sourcing events, directing commercial negotiations, and creating a variety of contract documentation. The position is fully remote, allowing for enhanced flexibility and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing events while nurturing vendor relationships to ensure successful collaboration.
• Spearhead commercial negotiations with vendors and draft essential contract documents, including MSAs, SaaS agreements, and SOWs.
• Coordinate the vendor onboarding process in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including security, IT, finance, and legal.
• Maintain thorough and accurate records of ongoing projects and sourcing activities.
• Design and implement new operational procedures, training programs, and process improvement recommendations.
• Cultivate strong working relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors to facilitate smooth operations.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficient in standard office software such as Microsoft Office and Workday.
• Familiarity with contract management tools, with a preference for Cobblestone.
• Solid understanding of various contract types, including MSAs, SaaS agreements, and SOWs, with experience in drafting amendments.
• Exceptional communication skills essential for effective pricing negotiations and project updates.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in a relevant field, or a minimum of 7 years of pertinent experience.
• A minimum of 5 years in a similar role, ideally within the healthcare sector.
• Experience with healthcare payor services is highly desired.
