We are in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic Youth Coordinator who will engage with youth aged 5 to 18 in both educational and community settings. This pivotal role is focused on introducing young individuals to promising career avenues in construction through hands-on activities and innovative programs. Collaborating with a talented team, you will plan, implement, supervise, and assess these initiatives, ensuring they cater to the varied interests and requirements of our participants.

Qualifications
Internal: Maintain daily contact with Club staff (both professional and volunteer), Club members, and your supervisor to ensure effective collaboration.
External: Build relationships with community groups, schools, parents, and other stakeholders to foster a supportive network for our youth members.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute engaging, age-appropriate activities for youth aged 5-13, leveraging the CareerForce Build UP! and Boys & Girls Clubs of America curricula as appropriate.
- Partner with local schools and organizations to facilitate construction-related discussions and demonstrations.
- Supervise the execution of grant-funded programs and track outcomes as assigned.
- Arrange transportation for students to and from the workforce center and assist as needed.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all participants through attentive supervision and proper care of equipment.
- Foster a cooperative atmosphere for volunteers and community partnerships, in alignment with Boys & Girls Clubs of America standards.
- Prepare and maintain classrooms for activities, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Provide ongoing support, mentorship, and guidance to youth, promoting an inclusive atmosphere that addresses the developmental needs of all participants.
- Contribute to a professional work environment by maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for volunteers and community partners.
- Actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance the overall climate for youth development.

Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- High School Diploma/GED/HSED required.
- At least one year of experience in delivering educational programs to youth aged 5-18.
- Experience in a construction environment or skilled trades is advantageous.
- Bilingual candidates (Spanish) are highly encouraged to apply.
- Successful completion of a formal background check is necessary.
- Strong commitment to working with youth in diverse settings.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication abilities.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License and insurance for travel throughout Dane County.
