Job Title: District Sales Manager (DSM)

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented District Sales Manager (DSM) to take charge of leading and cultivating a team of Sales Consultants (SCs) within a designated territory. Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute sales strategies aimed at achieving district sales targets and organizational objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to Sales Consultants in forecasting sales, identifying growth opportunities, and achieving performance benchmarks.
  • Assess and evaluate sales performance, offering insightful coaching and feedback to foster individual and team success.
  • Allocate and manage accounts to ensure optimal sales distribution for maximizing revenue.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop high-caliber talent within the district, promoting a collaborative and improvement-oriented culture.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to devise strategic initiatives and effectively implement business plans.
  • Assist Sales Consultants in field sales activities, engaging in client meetings and sharing expertise to strengthen customer relationships.
  • Lead training initiatives focused on enhancing product knowledge, sales techniques, and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with internal departments, including operations, merchandising, and finance, to refine sales processes and elevate customer satisfaction.
  • Leverage data analytics tools (like Salesforce and other CRM platforms) to monitor sales trends, evaluate performance, and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Partner with accounts receivable to oversee customer payments and ensure timely collections.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of sales management experience, ideally in B2B sales.
  • 2-3 years of field sales experience demonstrating a successful track record.
  • Experience in managing remote or geographically dispersed teams is an advantage.
