Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Senior Implementation Project Manager to join our team! In this role, you will lead and enhance the implementation of our vertical SaaS solution tailored for the heavy-duty repair shop sector. You will be hands-on in executing large-scale projects while also developing repeatable processes and scalable assets to support our future growth. Your primary focus will be on implementing our most strategic customer projects and building a robust project management function.

Key Responsibilities

• **Implementation Leadership:** Oversee the scope, initiation, and delivery of SaaS implementations for customers with annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $50k-$100k , guiding them through product configuration, integration of back-office systems (such as QuickBooks and Sage), data loading, user training, and multi-location setups.
• **Project Planning:** Collaborate with customers, sales, senior leadership, and internal teams to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
• **Project Management:** Build and manage detailed project plans to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery of customer-facing projects.
• **Team Coordination:** Work with cross-functional teams, including trainers, data experts, and solutions consultants, to ensure smooth execution of each project phase.
• **Process Improvement:** Identify inefficiencies and areas for automation, driving continuous improvement to enhance scalability and operational efficiency.
• **Asset Development:** Create reusable assets such as project templates, best practices, checklists, and surveys to streamline future customer implementations.
• **Stakeholder Engagement:** Lead internal and customer-facing meetings to align stakeholders, track project progress, and resolve any issues.
• **Project Management Function Development:** Drive the establishment of a project management function within the company, planning for future team expansion and capability building over the next 12-24 months.
  
  

Qualifications

**Required:**

• 5-8 years of experience managing SaaS or IT system implementations, particularly with financial system integrations and data migrations.
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and guiding clients through complex technical implementations.
  
  

Preferred

• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar project management certification.
• Experience in private equity-backed vertical SaaS or consulting.
• Familiarity with back-office financial management systems (QuickBooks, Sage) and accounts receivable/accounts payable (AR/AP) concepts.
• Experience with internal professional services P&L management, including services packaging, project and portfolio financial management, and professional services business metrics.
  
  

Key Skills

• Strong understanding of SaaS business models and technical integrations, particularly with financial systems (QuickBooks, Sage) and data migrations.
• Proven track record in leading large-scale, client-facing implementations, with experience in both direct execution and strategic process development.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects while ensuring successful outcomes.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet) and a flexible approach to project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and build strong relationships with clients.
• Solid understanding of risk management, financial management, and vendor relations.
