Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Life Enrichment Director to design and implement stimulating weekend activities tailored to our residents’ interests.
- Create an environment where memory care residents can joyfully participate in various creative and social activities.
- Encourage participation with a positive and enthusiastic demeanor that resonates with our residents.
- Offer both physical and emotional support to residents throughout each activity, ensuring their comfort and engagement.
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of activities to maintain a safe and organized space.
- Partner closely with caregivers to address the distinct needs of each resident.
- Prior experience in caregiving, hospitality, customer service, or recreational activities is beneficial.
- A heartfelt commitment to working with individuals with dementia, showcasing compassion and empathy.
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities to engage residents and make them feel valued.
- Creativity and flexibility to adapt activities as needed for the residents’ enjoyment.
- Reliability and dependability to ensure that our residents have meaningful weekends.
- Possession of an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or the ability to secure one.
- TB clearance or the capacity to obtain one.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience in caregiving or related fields is highly valued.
