We believe in creating a warm, supportive environment where residents can thrive, and we are looking for a compassionate, energetic individual to help lead activities on weekends.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and assist with engaging activities designed for residents with dementia, including music, art, games, reminiscence, movement, and sensory stimulation.
- Encourage participation and socialization, making activities adaptable and enjoyable for all residents.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering meaningful connections with residents.
- Help set up and clean up activity spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
- Work closely with caregivers and families to understand residents' interests and abilities.
What We’re Looking For:
- A heart for seniors! Compassion, patience, and a warm personality are a must.
- Experience working with older adults, especially those with dementia, is preferred but not required.
- Creativity and enthusiasm – you love making activities engaging and meaningful!
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with residents, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday, 9 AM - 5 PM, or similar hours).
