Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to become a vital part of our team. In this capacity, you will play a crucial role in supporting our U.S. business operations, assisting the sales team with various administrative tasks, including scheduling, coordinating meetings and events, and following up with customers to ensure their needs are met. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with exceptional communication capabilities and a strong capacity for managing multiple tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and acknowledge customer inquiries, documenting their specifications accurately.
  • Assist with cost estimating and prepare and submit quotations.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to finalize proposals and orders.
  • Support the sales team in preparing quotations, proposals, and impactful sales presentations.
  • Proactively follow up on quotations to enhance conversion rates to orders.
  • Act as the primary liaison for assigned accounts or market segments.
  • Assist in the preparation of bids and complex tender submissions.
  • Contribute to business forecasting and management reporting.
  • Host customer visits and participate in industry exhibitions.
  • Aid in prioritizing tasks within the sales team to ensure effective administration of sales inquiries.
  • Provide performance reports on inquiries and quotes.
  • Address customer complaints and offer after-sales support as required.
  • Keep clients updated on any delays or issues.
  • Monitor team performance, identify areas for enhancement, and recommend solutions.
  • Uphold company management practices and equal opportunity policies.
  • Comply with environmental responsibilities as defined by management.
  • Engage in additional projects and initiatives as necessary.

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Entry-level; comprehensive training provided. Prior experience as a Sales Coordinator or in an administrative capacity is advantageous.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and professional telephone etiquette.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
