Overview
We are in search of a meticulous Production Control Customer Service Representative who will play a pivotal role in ensuring that customer delivery requirements are effectively managed and executed. This position entails close collaboration with the Scheduler to align production timelines with customer expectations while fostering robust communication with both internal teams and external clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between customers and the Scheduler.
- Evaluate and communicate the impact of release changes to customers, promptly addressing any issues.
- Manage daily customer interactions to meet their needs and resolve concerns.
- Process and analyze incoming EDI orders from diverse customers.
- Conduct manual data entry for special orders or specific customer requirements as necessary.
- Monitor and assess release changes using ERP system reports to facilitate effective customer discussions.
- Independently organize and execute tasks to ensure that customer requirements are consistently fulfilled.
- Verify and enter customer purchase orders (POs), collaborating with the Sales team to confirm accurate cost data for new products and spot-buy orders.
- Partner with the Logistics team to address shortages and guarantee timely deliveries.
- Work closely with various internal departments to manage part shortages and devise recovery plans.
- Carry out additional related duties as assigned.
- A high school diploma is required; a college degree is preferred (relevant experience may compensate for formal education).
- 3 to 5 years of pertinent experience in customer service, scheduling, logistics, or a similar field.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, preferably Plex.
- Knowledge of GM and FCA/Stellantis OEM systems and customer support is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and possess strong computer skills.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to multitask and work efficiently in a dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
