Job Overview

Join us as a Product Manager - Digital Sales, where you will be a pivotal leader in the digital sales and e-commerce domain, responsible for shaping our online sales strategy and execution in the U.S. market. You will lead the Digital Sales team while collaborating with various internal departments to deliver a seamless and engaging online shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement a robust online sales strategy for the U.S. to drive revenue growth, enhance margins, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate effectively with merchandising, pricing, and replenishment teams to ensure alignment between online and offline sales initiatives.
  • Work in tandem with digital platform, operations, project, and omnichannel teams to roll out promotions, events, and innovative digital initiatives.
  • Partner with marketing, operations, merchandising, and IT teams to execute successful product and promotional campaigns.
  • Oversee product merchandising, assortment, inventory, and replenishment strategies to facilitate online category expansion and sales growth.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess the Digital Sales team's performance against sales and profitability targets.
  • Conduct market trend analysis, pricing evaluations, and sales performance assessments to pinpoint new growth opportunities.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to maintain competitive advantage in the e-commerce landscape.
  • Assist in formulating pricing strategies and achieving sales and gross profit objectives.
  • Guide and mentor the Digital Sales team, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital sales, preferably within traditional grocery retail and e-commerce environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in digital marketing, business, or a related discipline.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of product categories, specifications, and pricing, including familiarity with FDA regulations and industry standards.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint); experience with Magento or forecasting tools is advantageous.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a plus.
  • A genuine passion for merchandising and e-commerce within both B2C and B2B sectors.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, evolving environment and contribute innovative strategic ideas.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with a focus on efficient task execution within stipulated timelines.
  • Superior negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a robust understanding of American trade practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational abilities.
