Key Responsibilities
- Manage the organization's day-to-day operations to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide oversight and support to program service and administration leaders to facilitate seamless operations.
- Formulate and execute organizational policies in alignment with our mission and core values.
- Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives across multiple departments.
- Review and authorize personnel-related decisions, including recruitment, salary adjustments, and budget allocations.
- Draft, review, and finalize grant proposals and contracts.
- Act as the main liaison for union agreements and related matters.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to realize the organization's strategic vision.
- Inspire and guide staff to remain aligned with organizational objectives and values.
- Organize and lead staff meetings, retreats, and specialized program sessions to promote teamwork.
- Manage various committees, including those focused on justice, equity, and access.
- Assist in formulating and executing both long-term and short-term strategic plans.
- Prepare materials for Board meetings and participate actively in discussions.
- Represent the organization at external functions, conferences, and community outreach initiatives.
- Engage in advocacy efforts and legislative testimonies as necessary.
- A profound understanding of and commitment to our mission and values.
- A Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior senior-level leadership experience in a nonprofit or related organization is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the nonprofit sector and the challenges it encounters.
- Experience in grant writing, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Proven capability to motivate and lead teams within a mission-focused environment.
- Proficiency in conducting meetings, small group facilitation, and coaching.
- Comfort and skill in public speaking and delivering presentations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-driven and capable of working independently.
- Proficient in computer use, social media, and online platforms.
- Experience in financial management, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Willingness to work non-standard hours and travel statewide as required.

- Salary: \(80,000 - \)90,000 per year (exempt, salaried)
