Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all facets of key national accounts, including growth planning, assortment strategies, promotional initiatives, and shopper marketing campaigns.
- Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key account stakeholders such as buyers, planners, and analysts.
- Attain distribution and promotional goals for strategic accounts.
- Collaborate with brokers, distributors, and internal teams to accomplish sales and distribution targets.
- Work with broker partners to optimize growth and enhance brand visibility.
- Execute vendor setups and promotional programs within retailer systems.
- Implement effective retailer promotional strategies to boost incremental sales through strategic trade investments.
- Manage financial documentation, including sales forecasts, promotional calendars, and profitability assessments.
- Develop and present compelling sales presentations.
- Perform ad hoc analyses related to sales and inventory.
- Identify and pursue new business development opportunities.
- Support the Sales Forecast and Demand Planning Team with accurate inventory projections.
- Complete additional tasks as required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in CPG sales, with at least 5 years dedicated to major grocery accounts (e.g., Kroger, Publix, Albertsons); experience in the drug channel is advantageous.
- Strong business acumen coupled with proficiency in Excel, enabling comprehensive data analysis and modeling.
- Exceptional attention to detail, adept at managing multiple high-priority projects effectively.
- Experience in category leadership, partnering with national grocers to promote category growth.
- Demonstrated project management expertise, overseeing projects from conception through to completion across various functions and customer interactions.
- Resourcefulness and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Intellectual curiosity with a focus on enhancing processes and generating innovative revenue-driving ideas.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, capable of representing the brand positively with team members and clients.
