Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily organizational operations to guarantee efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead and mentor program service and administrative leaders for seamless operations.
- Formulate and execute organizational policies that align with our mission and values.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across various departments.
- Author, review, and finalize grant and contract agreements.
- Serve as the primary liaison for union contract matters.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to actualize organizational strategy and vision.
- Inspire and guide the staff to remain aligned with our goals and objectives.
- Organize and conduct staff meetings, retreats, and program-specific workshops.
- Facilitate various organizational committees focusing on justice, equity, and universal access.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of both long-term and short-term strategic plans.
- Prepare comprehensive materials and reports for the Board of Directors and engage in board meetings.
- Represent the organization at external events, community outreach efforts, and conferences.
- Participate in advocacy initiatives and legislative testimony as required.
- Develop program budgets in accordance with funding agreements and project expenditures.
- Oversee spending and program execution, making necessary budget adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, preparing reports for stakeholders as needed.
- Lead quality improvement efforts alongside agency leadership.
- Remain available for urgent needs and emergencies as well as on-call support when necessary.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in facilitating meetings and coaching sessions.
