Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and drive a strategic 3-year roadmap to enhance product and category growth, ensuring profitability through the introduction of innovative products and effective product transformations.
- Evaluate sales performance, market trends, and competitive dynamics to inform decisions grounded in consumer insights and product effectiveness.
- Establish and oversee P&L objectives across various categories and channels to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
- Lead the new product development (NPD) and import processes, guiding offerings from initial idea to market introduction, encompassing pricing, positioning, packaging, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain Management (SCM), Operations, and Research & Development (R&D), to ensure seamless execution of product strategies.
- Conduct thorough product analyses, pinpoint opportunities for innovation, and propose product features that align with the company's objectives.
- Manage the product lifecycle, emphasizing enhancements and SKU optimization.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for new product launches and devise effective communication tactics to engage consumers.
- Oversee the implementation of marketing initiatives, including packaging design, advertising strategies, digital outreach, and social media campaigns, while coordinating closely with internal and external partners.
- Support the management of relationships with external vendors and stakeholders, such as advertising firms, public relations agencies, and market research organizations.
- Lead consumer research initiatives, monitor market developments, and remain attuned to competitive landscapes to ensure products meet category requirements.
- Design and oversee the creation of marketing and sales materials, including sell sheets and presentations.
- Manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring all marketing undertakings are executed within allocated resources.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA is advantageous.
- Deep passion for food is essential.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in brand or product innovation marketing, particularly within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector and preferably within the food industry.
- Strong B2C or B2B experience, with a solid grasp of P&L management.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with familiarity in using IRI, Nielsen, and Spins data.
- Superior communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
- Capacity to manage diverse projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a high-energy environment.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
- Bilingual in Korean is a plus.
