Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to teaching staff in implementing engaging, high-quality instructional practices, lesson planning, and assessment methodologies utilizing the COR Advantage Assessment tool.
- Ensure adherence to NAEYC Accreditation standards and the DC Early Learning Standards, overseeing effective curriculum implementation in educational settings.
- Identify staff training requirements and facilitate opportunities for professional growth and development.
- Foster strong partnerships with parents and the community, nurturing an inclusive and welcoming environment.
- Supervise staff and manage facility operations to create a safe and productive setting for learning.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and promptly address any compliance needs.
- Develop and execute a strategic marketing and recruitment initiative to sustain full enrollment capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of assessment tools, including ITERS, CLASS, and QRIS.
- Proven ability to foster a warm and inclusive atmosphere for families.
- Experience in leadership, curriculum execution, and operational oversight.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and regulatory compliance skills.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a closely related discipline.
