Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development of an innovative B2B remittance product from concept to market launch, ensuring its ongoing success and viability.
- Articulate and disseminate product roadmaps, priorities, and pivotal decisions across multidisciplinary teams.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Product to formulate a comprehensive multi-year vision for the product line.
- Collect and analyze user feedback through various methodologies including surveys, concept testing, analytics, and A/B testing.
- Develop and monitor product performance metrics to evaluate success and identify areas for enhancement.
- Pinpoint opportunities for product advancements aligned with market trends, user insights, and stakeholder input.
- Engage with engineering teams to navigate technical complexities, especially regarding APIs, SDKs, and automation processes.
- Actively contribute to agile development practices, ensuring efficient execution and delivery.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog to advance development initiatives effectively.
- Communicate product updates and release notes to internal stakeholders and external partners in a timely manner.
- Undertake additional projects and initiatives as required.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- 5 years of experience in product management or related fields.
- 3 years as an API Product Manager in a B2B2C context.
- 3 years in the banking, payments, or FinTech sector, with a strong focus on compliance, transaction monitoring, and fraud prevention.
- In-depth technical expertise in designing scalable platforms, including third-party integrations, SDKs, and APIs.
- Proficient in Postman for API testing, development, and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data and drive informed business decisions.
- Experience building scalable products within large enterprises.
- Familiarity with backend API dependencies and collaboration with engineering teams on implementations.
- Proven experience working with offshore teams and agile methodologies, including lean and MVP strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage both technical and business audiences.
