Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and results-oriented Direct Mail Program Specialist to spearhead our direct mail marketing initiatives. This role will empower you to develop impactful strategies, enhance operational efficiencies, and drive the performance of our campaigns, ultimately contributing to lead generation and revenue growth.

This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement in either Chicago, IL or Rye Brook, NY, with the possibility of a fully remote setup for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and oversee direct mail marketing campaigns from inception to completion, aimed at driving lead generation and maximizing revenue.
  • Manage list procurement processes while collaborating with external vendors and data sources.
  • Evaluate campaign performance through metrics such as response rates, ROI, and conversion rates, and refine strategies accordingly to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Handle budgets and timelines to guarantee the efficient execution of campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital marketing and sales, to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Test and refine various direct mail approaches, offers, and creative components to enhance engagement and overall performance.
  • Remain informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to enrich marketing tactics.

Required Skills

  • 5-7 years of experience in the realm of direct response marketing, particularly with a focus on managing direct mail campaigns.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Proficiency in integrating digital marketing initiatives with direct mail strategies is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with a proven track record of utilizing data-driven insights to refine marketing efforts.
  • Excellent project management abilities, adept at juggling multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools is appreciated, with knowledge of NetSuite and Power BI being advantageous.
  • High level of expertise in Excel and data analysis.
  • Experience in managing relationships with external vendors and partners in the direct mail space.
  • Detail-oriented and driven by results, with a keen focus on achieving marketing KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated background in direct response marketing with an emphasis on direct mail campaign management.
  • Strong educational foundation in marketing or a related field.
