Key Responsibilities
- Drive annual sales objectives within your assigned territory.
- Identify and qualify leads among law school faculty, deans, administrators, and library staff.
- Conduct compelling in-person and virtual presentations tailored to the specific needs of clients.
- Collaborate closely with the Institutional Sales Manager to promote institutional offerings, including digital libraries, practice tools, and e-books.
- Maintain a robust market presence while ensuring the continuity of business relationships.
- Stay updated on industry trends and legal education products, sharing insights with your team.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Keep accurate records in the CRM system, including faculty contacts, course materials, and sales reports.
- Submit weekly reports and monitor key sales metrics.
- Attend biannual sales meetings and industry conferences to expand your professional network.
- Cultivate relationships with academic influencers, including deans, faculty, and registrars.
- Undertake additional tasks as needed to support the sales team’s success.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- 2-5 years of sales experience, ideally in legal, educational, or academic publishing sectors.
- Expertise in developing and qualifying sales leads.
- Capability to demonstrate and sell technology-based educational products.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt presentations for diverse audiences.
- Proven success in managing a large client base across multiple states.
- Experience with CRM systems (Zoho is an advantage).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- A proactive, self-driven disposition with strong organizational abilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% during peak sales seasons.
