Key Responsibilities
- Partner with commercial and R&D teams to propel product development through an in-depth contextual understanding.
- Oversee and implement projects aimed at product enhancement, innovation, and deployment.
- Foster and maintain robust customer relationships, translating their needs into actionable insights for R&D.
- Collaborate closely with laboratory, production, and manufacturing teams to optimize processes and production outcomes.
- Conduct customer visits to evaluate infrastructure needs, assess scalability, and facilitate product commercialization.
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging effectively with diverse teams, including laboratory, production, and marketing professionals.
- Familiarity with the water treatment industry, including sectors such as food & beverage, electric power, mining, municipal water systems, or industrial wastewater.
- Proven ability to lead projects centered on product improvement and implementation.
- Skilled in building and sustaining strong customer relationships.
- Knowledgeable in evaluating infrastructure needs and scalability for successful product commercialization.
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience in water treatment, OR 7 years of experience in business development roles within the water treatment sector.
- Preference for candidates with a Master's degree in a scientific or related field and over 5 years of experience in business and product development roles.
- Experience in bio-polymer research or chitosan applications is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing diverse teams.
