Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead projects from conception to completion, aligning with both organizational and client objectives.
- Provide engineering professional services, ensuring timely project delivery.
- Coordinate with engineering teams on custom board enablement and Ubuntu image provisioning.
- Develop and sustain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and statements of work.
- Secure client endorsement on project timelines and deliverables.
- Identify project risks and proactively manage issues to uphold deadlines and expectations.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee third-party contributions, ensuring adherence to critical project timelines.
- Keep management informed on project statuses, risks, and milestones.
- Promote relevant technologies from our product suite to address customer requirements.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, accommodating varying time zones and flexible schedules as needed.
- Proven expertise in project management, particularly in delivering engineering services to clients, managing software development teams, and field engineers.
- Demonstrated capability in overseeing cross-cultural, multi-continent projects, ideally involving teams across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
- Strong understanding of Linux and the open-source software ecosystem, coupled with a solid foundation in computer architecture.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- A proactive leader and strategic problem-solver with a successful track record of building partnerships and relationships with internal teams and external clients.
- PMP, PMI, or PRINCE2 certification is highly regarded.
- Availability to work non-standard hours to support a global team.
- Willingness to travel up to 4 times annually for internal events.
