About The Role

We are in search of a proactive Management Consulting Project Manager who will take charge of project teams and provide outstanding consulting services to our clients across the state. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all phases of project activities, from strategic planning and status assessments to cultivating meaningful client relationships and addressing challenges. Collaborating effectively with diverse teams and external partners, you will ensure seamless project execution, adherence to scope, and the delivery of substantial value.

This role demands a meticulous professional capable of navigating complex project intricacies while maintaining a strategic perspective on overarching engagement objectives and interdependencies. Key Responsibilities

As a Management Consulting Project Manager, your role will involve:

• Acting as the key liaison for clients and internal project teams.
• Leading project planning efforts, including scope delineation, deliverables, timelines, and budget management.
• Organizing regular client meetings to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
• Efficiently managing project resources to ensure alignment with objectives and priorities.
• Proactively identifying, monitoring, and addressing project risks and issues, escalating when necessary.
• Adhering to the defined project scope while utilizing scope management processes for any amendments.
• Tracking and reporting project progress using success metrics.
• Providing weekly updates to senior management and stakeholders regarding project status.
• Building enduring relationships with client management and project teams.
• Supporting the sales process by offering technical expertise and assisting clients in identifying their needs.
• Upholding best practices in consulting methodologies to ensure services yield measurable value for clients.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, quality management, accounting, or a related field.
• Active PMP Certification (Project Management Professional).
  
  

Required Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in managing project teams and delivering consulting projects.
• A strong preference for experience with government clients.
• Demonstrated proficiency in creating project management deliverables, including project charters and risk management plans.
• Hands-on experience managing multiple projects and teams within established timelines and budgets.
• A proven ability to identify, track, and resolve project issues while serving as the main point of contact.
• A solid foundation in scope management and proactive risk mitigation.
