Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical expertise and training to customers regarding machine operations, process optimization, and CAD/CAM programming software.
- Conduct both in-person and remote training sessions, with travel of approximately 50% required (variability may apply).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and facilitate the successful introduction of new solutions.
- Oversee software enhancement requests, troubleshoot issues, and test updates to ensure high performance.
- Maintain and develop databases with a key focus on laser applications.
- Author user-friendly knowledge base articles and training materials to empower customers.
- Perform demonstrations of equipment and software for potential customers, showcasing our advanced technology.
- Work closely with various departments to guarantee the timely delivery of products that meet customer requirements.
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events, enhancing our presence in the market.
- Maintain effective communication with global teams to provide customer support across diverse backgrounds.
- Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with laser cutting machinery.
- Proficiency in cleaning and changing laser cutting heads.
- Strong understanding of G&M code and database/parameter development.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or SOLIDWORKS (preferred).
- Familiarity with CNC equipment and material handling systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Robust organizational skills with the agility to manage multiple projects effectively.
