Job Overview

We are in search of a skilled and driven Project Manager to spearhead and oversee high-stakes projects within a federal government environment. This role demands a professional with robust technical expertise, exceptional collaborative abilities with government personnel, and a proven history of achieving successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage intricate projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Engage with government personnel and stakeholders to fulfill project objectives and cultivate productive partnerships.
  • Deliver specialized technical guidance and strategic planning to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Assess project performance, address issues swiftly, and pinpoint avenues for process enhancement.
  • Guarantee compliance with pertinent policies, regulations, and contractual stipulations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison, addressing government inquiries and providing timely updates.
  • Recognize and alleviate risks, notifying stakeholders of any contractual or programmatic issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 24 semester hours in business-related coursework from an accredited institution, or 10 years of federal contract specialist experience in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in quality management activities for government acquisitions.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the development of acquisition policies and guidance.
  • Certifications (one or more of the following):
    • DAWIA Level III
    • FAC-C Level III
    • NCMA Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM)
    • NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM)
