- Spearhead system implementation initiatives, primarily focusing on application development rather than infrastructure.
- Utilize Jira for effective project tracking and team collaboration.
- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and budgets, adhering to established Project Management Office (PMO) protocols.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using MS Project, inclusive of dependencies, milestones, critical paths, and resource allocation.
- Ensure consistent communication regarding project timelines and progress to all relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor and project expenditures, ensuring alignment with pre-approved budgets.
- Address and resolve conflicts, issues, and risks within project teams promptly.
- Conduct thorough post-project assessments, documenting lessons learned and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Clearly articulate project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to stakeholders.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with team members, project leads, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide mentorship and support to project teams in adopting PMO best practices, from risk management to budget oversight.
- Maintain quality and consistency in project methodologies and deliverables, recommending enhancements as necessary.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors while supporting governance efforts.
- Proven experience in leading system implementation projects.
- Proficiency in project management tools, particularly Jira and MS Project.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage project timelines, budgets, and risks.
- Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with stakeholders and fostering team collaboration.
- Analytical mindset for identifying challenges and proposing effective solutions.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in IT systems implementation.
