Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Security Engineer with a robust background in endpoint security across diverse enterprise environments, including Windows, iOS, MacOS, and Android. This role integrates advanced technical capabilities with strategic policy solutions, aimed at enhancing the organization’s overall security framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, resolve, and mitigate security vulnerabilities across both workstation and mobile platforms.
• Conduct thorough testing and support for critical applications and operating system updates to uncover security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to safeguard the security of applications, operating systems, and hardware.
• Design and implement secure user experiences tailored to business requirements.
• Coordinate and document solutions for identified vulnerabilities efficiently.
• Implement and maintain security benchmark standards, ensuring minimal disruption to production environments.
• Align security efforts with corporate standards and service level agreements (SLAs) through collaboration with various teams.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Active Directory, MDM, SCCM, and GPOs.
• Familiarity with Windows 10⁄11, kiosks, and mobility environments (iOS, MacOS, Android).
• Knowledge of CVE vulnerability management, OS security, and third-party application security.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to prepare comprehensive technical documentation.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry certifications and experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in security engineering for desktop and mobile infrastructures within a large enterprise setting.
• Proven success in implementing security frameworks and benchmarks (STIG/NIST/CIS) while minimizing user impact.

Work Schedule

• Hybrid model (2 days per week onsite; remaining days remote).
• Initial training will necessitate onsite presence on designated days, post which a flexible schedule allows for choosing any two onsite days at either Chicago location (11555 W. Touhy Ave. or Willis Tower).

Flexible shift options (e.g., 8 AM - 5 PM or 9 AM - 6 PM) with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
