Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision to non-licensed staff, fostering their growth and ensuring effective case management.
- Oversee client admissions, transitions, and discharges, ensuring seamless coordination of services.
- Assess and respond to crisis situations by prescribing appropriate follow-up services when necessary.
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, assign diagnoses, and perform LOCUS/CALOCUS assessments for clients.
- Lead the development of individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and team members.
- Complete and submit initial authorization request forms for new clients.
- Lock and sign progress notes, offer constructive feedback, and conduct clinical reviews as needed.
- Provide Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) to clients requiring additional assistance.
- Uphold program policies and ensure compliance with all agency regulations.
- Assist the physician during medication management sessions as required.
- Maintain on-call availability to support clients when needed.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines.
- Proficiency in DSM-based diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision in a flexible schedule.
- Familiarity with agency policies concerning confidentiality and non-discrimination.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Capability to obtain CPR certification within 45 days of employment.
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling.
- Active licensure as an LPC or LCSW in good standing.
- Possession of NPI and CAQH numbers, with active registration with LA Medicaid.
- Proven ability to adhere to agency policies and standards compliance.
- Proficiency in clinical assessment and supervision of non-licensed clinicians.
