Key Responsibilities
- Manage an independent defense litigation caseload from inception through to resolution, including dispositive motions, mediation, and trial
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and partners across various legal projects
- Engage in court appearances and depositions on a regular basis
- Maintain clear communication with clients, providing strategic updates and advice
- Proficient in deposition preparation, trial preparation, and motion practice
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Capacity to independently oversee a defense litigation caseload
- Effective client communication and advisory skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) obtained from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in the state of New York
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation, with a preference for professional liability experience
- Proficient in handling paper discovery, depositions, and report writing

- Salary Range: \(125,000—\)145,000 USD, commensurate with experience and qualifications
