Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth mental health assessments for veterans, ensuring meticulous documentation of findings via a web-based system.
- Review relevant mental health history documentation and provide one-time, non-treatment behavioral health evaluations.
- Document responses during examinations electronically, facilitating timely submission to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability determinations.
- Assess common mental health conditions such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
- Work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Uphold precise and punctual documentation practices.
- Proficient clinical skills in mental health assessment and evaluation.
- Strong interpersonal abilities and adaptability to dynamic environments.
- Basic proficiency in computer operations.
- A Ph.D. or PsyD in Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Current, valid, and unrestricted licensure as a psychologist.
- An active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
