Remote Construction Project Manager - Heavy Civil

Job Overview

As a leading company in heavy civil construction, we are seeking an accomplished and driven Construction Project Manager to join our esteemed team. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution and completion of civil engineering projects, ensuring they adhere to budgetary and quality standards.
• Develop, implement, and manage project timelines and budgets, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive project reports, tracking key performance indicators and financial forecasts.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders through transparent communication.
• Oversee project documentation, including pay applications, RFIs, and change orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with the General Superintendent in resource allocation to optimize project execution.
• Represent the organization in project meetings, delivering insights and updates as required.
• Mentor junior team members, contributing to their professional growth and development.
• Uphold safety standards and ensure adherence to all regulations and site policies.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven track record of managing substantial construction projects or multiple smaller-scale projects effectively.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience in supervising a team of engineers and assistants.
• Comprehensive understanding of contract law, skilled in negotiating change orders and subcontracts.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, capable of conveying complex information succinctly.
• Proficient in project management software, including ProCore, Primavera, and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with an ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in project management.
• Demonstrable experience in heavy civil construction and project oversight.
