- Execute installation, configuration, and maintenance of SQL Server databases, ensuring peak reliability and performance.
- Monitor and enhance database performance through fine-tuning techniques, including query execution and indexing strategies.
- Develop and manage robust backup and disaster recovery plans to safeguard data and ensure business continuity.
- Implement and uphold database security measures, manage user permissions, and comply with industry regulations.
- Provide 24⁄7 support for database-related challenges, swiftly resolving performance issues and other incidents.
- Conduct routine maintenance activities, including updates and data integrity checks, to optimize database functionality.
- Design and test disaster recovery strategies to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Oversee the planning and execution of database upgrades and migrations with minimal service interruption.

- Proven expertise as a SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA), showcasing hands-on experience in database management and optimization.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or later, including aspects of installation, configuration, and recovery processes.
- Strong grasp of database security principles, including user access management and compliance protocols.
- Proficiency in performance tuning and query optimization methods.
- Skilled in SQL scripting and automation using T-SQL and PowerShell.
- Experience in implementing high-availability solutions, such as Always On Availability Groups and Database Mirroring.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address complex database challenges.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SQL Profiler and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) specifically focusing on Microsoft SQL Server.
