Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate staffing requirements and analyze qualifications to facilitate precise staffing decisions.
- Review and evaluate employment applications, providing recommendations for approvals.
- Maintain applicant registers and manage automated systems for staffing, records, personnel management, and database accountability.
- Prepare rating and ranking recommendations in accordance with Merit Promotion procedures.
- Create and disseminate vacancy announcements for federal job openings.
- Execute quality reviews of merit promotion qualification determinations carried out by federal staff.
- Provide expert advice on a comprehensive range of federal HR benefits programs and services, including eligibility criteria.
- Ensure compliance with all federal HR laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Extensive experience with USA Staffing and federal classification processes.
- Superior written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven capacity to conduct job analyses and staffing needs assessments.
- Experience advising on federal HR benefits programs and services.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Federal HR Specialist, with a focus on staffing and placement at the federal level.
- Must successfully pass a Public Trust security clearance process.
