Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Project Manager to spearhead initiatives within our Generative AI Center of Excellence (COE). This pivotal role will involve overseeing the comprehensive lifecycle of Generative AI projects, encompassing everything from initial intake and evaluation to final delivery. The successful candidate will adeptly balance technical project management with strategic alignment to ensure that our innovative AI solutions effectively achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of Generative AI use case intake, assessment, and implementation, employing standardized frameworks to ensure clarity and consistency.
• Supervise project timelines, budgets, and risk management strategies to facilitate timely and high-quality delivery of solutions.
• Coordinate the deployment of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and refine pre-trained models such as GPT and BERT.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists and engineers to design, test, and deploy AI solutions, capitalizing on natural language processing (NLP), large language models (LLMs), and APIs.
• Establish and track project-specific KPIs (e.g., precision, recall, latency) alongside business metrics to evaluate success and drive enhancements.
• Create and maintain feedback systems to monitor AI model performance, addressing model drift and bias while ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment of AI project goals with overarching business strategies.
• Provide consultative guidance on data architecture, AI models, and application development in partnership with engineering teams.
• Recognize and mitigate potential risks associated with AI projects, employing Agile methodologies for proactive management.
• Foster transparent communication with stakeholders through regular updates and dashboards.
  
  

Required Skills

• Minimum of 5 years experience in managing engineering or software development projects, preferably within an Agile framework.
• Practical experience with Generative AI technologies, including NLP, LLMs, and machine learning models.
• Knowledge of RAG architecture, API development, and familiarity with tools such as LangChain, Hugging Face, or vector databases.
• Proven ability to assess ROI and business value in AI projects, aligning them with business goals.
• Strong understanding of risk management in AI, including model drift and bias reduction.
• Technical expertise in data pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams, encompassing business analysts, data scientists, software engineers, and consultants.
• Robust background in Agile project management and AI/ML technologies, promoting collaboration between technical and business teams.
  
  

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline).
• Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or AI-related areas are advantageous.
• Experience with RAG solutions, model fine-tuning, and data integration tools is preferred.
