Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and development of complex Full Stack applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Act as a proactive technical lead, offering expert guidance to both internal and external development teams.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our portfolio of applications and services.
- Stay abreast of emerging technology trends in SaaS, cloud computing, and DevOps to propose and implement innovative solutions.
- Formulate strategies that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and drive business value.
- Diagnose and resolve intricate software issues, delivering sustainable technical resolutions.
- Champion API-centric development, ensuring integration with mid-office applications and external partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management to guarantee successful project deliverables.
- Adhere to best practices and software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles for consistent and reliable software.
- Oversee and maintain eCommerce applications, ensuring their stability, security, and user satisfaction.
- Design high-availability applications utilizing multi-tier cloud architecture.
- Ensure smooth integration with third-party services and APIs.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, nurturing a culture of learning, collaboration, and innovation.
- Conduct comprehensive testing to assure application quality and resolve identified issues promptly.
- Implement robust security protocols to safeguard customer data and transactions.
- Create and maintain thorough technical documentation, encompassing system architecture, APIs, and workflows.
- Regularly monitor system performance and optimize application responsiveness.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure top-quality applications and swiftly address any issues.
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing complex Full Stack applications.
- Proficient in managing eCommerce applications and websites.
- Strong experience with CMS, commerce platforms, and headless architecture concepts.
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python (Django, Flask), and messaging systems such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
- Experience with CI/CD tools including GitOps, Jenkins, Maven, and JIRA.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, favoring hands-on database development.
- Familiarity with the Vtex eCommerce platform and Nosto (eCommerce personalization) is a plus.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
