Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Professional Learning: Conduct engaging in-person and virtual workshops and seminars for educators and school leaders.
- Build Partnerships: Attract new schools and districts to adopt our programs through introductory sessions and establish enduring partnerships that promote curriculum and professional learning agreements.
- Cultivate Relationships: Maintain and document open lines of communication with educators and school/district leaders, ensuring a collaborative approach to professional development.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation abilities.
- Strong familiarity with social-emotional learning, school culture, and civic education.
- Experience with culturally responsive teaching and equity initiatives.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing technology-enabled professional learning experiences across various platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with an aptitude for managing multiple projects effectively.
- A growth mindset, demonstrating eagerness to learn and reflect on experiences.
- Ability to articulate our mission to diverse audiences with clarity.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of secondary classroom teaching experience (grades 7-12).
- At least 3 years of experience in leading professional development and/or coaching in educational settings.
- Knowledge of a humanities-based content area, such as U.S. history or English Language Arts, is preferred.
