Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager who is ready to take on a pivotal role in leading impactful projects in a fully remote capacity. This position provides the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of pension-related projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and adherence to established project management protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project charters and detailed plans to guide project execution.
  • Monitor budgets, estimates at completion (EAC), and progress to maintain transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee critical project components, including scope, schedules, costs, quality, resources, risks, and procurement.
  • Lead medium to large-scale projects, managing interdependencies and ensuring alignment with overarching organizational goals.
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with leadership teams and business units to enhance project outcomes.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders, actively seeking their feedback to ensure project alignment.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, fostering open communication channels.
  • Uphold project management methodologies and standards to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes.
  • Proactively identify and address risks and issues that may impede project success.
  • Establish governance controls for managing scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Track and report on deliverables to guarantee alignment with project objectives and anticipated benefits.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop project teams, promoting a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
  • Assist in project prioritization and documentation, including charters and risk assessments to support decision-making and governance.

Required Skills

  • Extensive knowledge in project management practices, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and reporting.
  • Strong negotiation and facilitation skills to effectively manage meetings and vendor relationships.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex problem-solving and decision-making scenarios.
  • Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with emphasis on risk and change management.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • PMP certification is strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing enterprise-level software implementations and resource planning is essential.
