Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of school mental health and suicide prevention programs across a portfolio of 15-20 districts, providing ongoing consultation and support.
- Collaborate with district stakeholders to create customized, data-driven strategic plans that strengthen mental health practices and policies.
- Employ your expertise in school mental health to assist districts in engaging their communities and garnering support for mental health initiatives.
- Develop training materials, presentations, and resources that contribute to professional development and community outreach efforts.
- Offer innovative, evidence-based solutions to address unique challenges faced by districts and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Guide districts in data collection, assessment, and ongoing evaluation to measure program effectiveness, while maintaining accurate program metrics through CRM systems.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with district leaders to promote collaboration and program success.
- Master's degree in education, counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field (candidates in early to mid-career PhD programs are encouraged to apply).
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience within PK-12 educational systems, including direct leadership experience in school mental health or related areas.
- Comprehensive understanding of school-based mental health systems, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), suicide prevention, and substance use prevention programs.
- Familiarity with district-level systems and data, particularly in the Mountain West region.
- Proven track record of effective leadership, collaboration, and management within school mental health programming.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to devise strategies and implement solutions that yield positive results.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with experience in drafting reports and delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
- Comfortable presenting to large groups, including senior leadership.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven history of building and sustaining successful partnerships.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM and project management systems is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% to engage with districts and attend conferences.
