Remote Senior Project Manager for Solar

Job Overview

We are in search of a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to spearhead utility-scale Solar PV projects across the United States in a remote capacity. This advanced role integrates strategic project oversight with client relations, ensuring the seamless execution and successful delivery of projects. As a Senior Project Manager, you will mentor and lead a dedicated team of engineers and designers, leveraging your expertise in PVSyst and other modeling software to provide superior power generation solutions. You will also significantly contribute to the progression of renewable energy initiatives, including Solar, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Key Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of utility-scale Solar PV projects, from initial conceptualization and design to implementation and final delivery.
• Act as the chief client liaison, cultivating long-term partnerships and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction at the senior level.
• Mentor and guide a team of technical engineers and designers, assisting them in utilizing PVSyst and other advanced modeling software effectively.
• Strategically manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to project deadlines.
• Collaborate intensively with both internal and external stakeholders to align project objectives with organizational and client goals.
• Provide thought leadership within the renewable energy sector, contributing to initiatives across Solar, Wind, and BESS and disseminating best practices among teams.
• Proactively identify and address project risks, delivering innovative solutions to challenges encountered throughout the project lifecycle.

• Extensive experience in managing utility-scale Solar PV projects with a track record of successful project outcomes.
• Strong client-facing capabilities, adept at managing senior-level client relationships across various projects.
• Proficient in PVSyst and other Solar PV modeling software.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with a history of managing and developing technical teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
