We are seeking an experienced and dedicated FDOT Survey Project Manager to become a vital member of our innovative Survey Team in Tampa, FL. Key Responsibilities
- Independently evaluate, select, and implement established surveying methods and protocols, utilizing your expertise to adapt as necessary for FDOT and other transportation endeavors.
- Strategically plan, coordinate, and manage the various stages of surveying work, whether as a segment of a larger project or as an independent assignment of moderate complexity.
- Execute boundary analysis for extensive land surveys, including corridor, route, and sectionalized surveys.
- Ensure effective client communication throughout the duration of projects, fostering alignment from initiation to completion.
- Oversee and direct the activities of surveyors, technicians, and support personnel tasked with specific survey duties.
- Review, certify, and manage all professional surveying documentation as required.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary to promote project success.
- Active licensure as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in the State of Florida, or the potential to secure licensure within 12 months.
- A minimum of five years of relevant office experience on Department of Transportation (DOT) projects.
- Proficient technical skills, particularly in Microstation and OpenRoads Designer.
- Extensive experience in Right-of-Way mapping is preferred.
- Proven expertise in surveying and project management, with a strong emphasis on DOT projects.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
