In this pivotal role, you will provide technical expertise and training for state-of-the-art software and laser cutting machines, assisting clients in enhancing their operational efficiencies through comprehensive training and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding support and training to customers, both remotely and on-site, addressing machine operation, process optimization, and CAD/CAM software.
- Participate in travel up to 50% of the time for in-person customer training, with the potential for additional travel based on business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the launch of new product lines and features.
- Oversee enhancement and bug fix lists while testing software updates and improvements.
- Design targeted database solutions and contribute to the creation of technical documentation.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge base articles and training materials for customer reference.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure prompt product delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives while nurturing positive relationships with teams and clients.
- Proficient understanding of G&M code is essential.
- Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks is advantageous.
- Familiarity with CNC equipment and material handling systems is preferred.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail.
- Self-driven and committed to completing assignments with accuracy.
- An Associate’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with laser cutting machinery and CAD/CAM software is highly favored.
- Experience with cleaning and changing laser cutting heads, as well as developing database parameters, is considered a plus.
