Key Responsibilities
- Deliver remote healthcare services to critically ill patients, including monitoring vital signs, responding to alerts, and participating in patient rounds.
- Collaborate effectively with bedside nurses, intensivists, and various members of the healthcare team.
- Employ advanced telemedicine technologies to evaluate patient conditions and support clinical decision-making.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the evolution of the eICU program.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to bedside nurses at affiliated hospitals.
- Strong clinical assessment capabilities.
- Proficiency in utilizing telemedicine technology.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Mentoring skills to support bedside nursing staff.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a critical care environment (ICU, CCU, etc.).
- Current RN licensure in the State of Wisconsin or a compact state.
- CPR/BLS certification must be current.
- ACLS certification to be obtained within six months of hiring.
