Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop loss prevention surveys across diverse settings.
- Analyze data to provide informed recommendations that effectively control risks and diminish losses.
- Prepare thorough reports detailing findings and suggestions regarding potential loss exposures.
- Assess and monitor environmental and occupational risks to ensure safety compliance.
- Design and deliver educational programs tailored to improve safety awareness among policyholders.
- Create industry-specific training materials and lead sessions focused on safety and ergonomics.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to achieve high standards of service and safety.
- Bachelor's degree in safety, risk management, or a related discipline; or two years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- A Master's degree in safety, risk management, or related fields is preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a safety-related position, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
- ASP designation or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Strong understanding of state and federal regulations related to workers' compensation and OSHA.
- Excellent presentation and customer service skills, along with effective communication capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
- Efficient organizational and time management abilities.
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, with flexibility for potential overnight travel.
- Bachelor's degree in safety, risk management, or a relevant field.
- At least one year of experience in a safety-related field or a qualifying internship.
