Job Overview

As an Equity Partner, you will oversee complex transactions for clients across diverse sectors, ensuring their interests are adeptly managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all elements of sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.
• Cultivate and maintain a portable book of business.
• Provide guidance on a full range of real estate legal matters.
• Draft essential agreements and documentation.
• Champion excellence by proactively addressing challenges.
• Leverage strong negotiation skills to lead and finalize intricate deals.
• Foster relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to clients throughout their real estate journeys.
  
  

Required Skills

• Minimum of 10 years practicing commercial real estate law.
• Demonstrated expertise in transactional matters, including commercial leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions.
• Proficient in handling title, survey, environmental, and related diligence matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
  
  

Qualifications

• A portable book of business is critical for this role.
• Familiarity with entitlement, zoning, and tax issues is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in commercial lending and banking transactions is advantageous.
• Licensed in Colorado or Illinois, or eligible to practice in these states.
