Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage a team of maintenance personnel and subcontractors, ensuring efficient scheduling of repairs and maintenance operations.
- Lead office staff in marketing strategies, tenant screening processes, and achieving occupancy and rental targets.
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage costs effectively across all operational areas and collaborate with legal counsel concerning tenant matters.
- Spearhead acquisitions and sales initiatives to enhance profitability.
- Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven customer service aptitude and problem-solving proficiency.
- General knowledge of construction and maintenance practices.
- Effective decision-making skills and marketing expertise.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Word, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a General Manager role within property management.
- At least 5 years of experience in both residential and commercial real estate.
- 3 years of experience in property management, project management, and maintenance oversight.
- Strong financial reporting experience, preferably with QuickBooks.
- Familiarity with payroll and HR functions is advantageous.
