Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering an atmosphere of growth and high performance.
- Identify and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency of our loan processing and closing procedures while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Manage the loan pipeline proactively, guaranteeing timely closings and fundings that exceed expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Real Estate Lending and Compliance to ensure optimal operations and ongoing improvements.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of 1st mortgage loan production, including conventional, FHA, and VA loan types.
- Proficient in pipeline management to accommodate stringent closing deadlines while maintaining compliance.
- Comprehensive understanding of mortgage lending regulations, including Reg B, TRID, ECOA, FCRA, and more.
- Familiarity with mortgage lending LOS platforms, with insight into the technology’s impact on lending outcomes.
- A minimum of 5 years of cumulative experience in mortgage lending processing and/or closing.
- At least 2 years of experience in leading a mortgage production team.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in formulating comprehensive and compliant procedures.
