Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of commercial litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, hearings, mediation, and trial preparation.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal memoranda, briefs, motions, and various court documents.
- Oversee client communications, providing regular updates and strategic counsel.
- Formulate and implement litigation strategies aligned with clients' objectives.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to facilitate case management and trial preparation.
- Stay current on legal trends and pertinent developments in commercial litigation.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law institution.
- Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing.
- 2-5 years of experience in litigation, particularly in commercial or business litigation.
- Strong legal research and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in litigation technology, including eDiscovery platforms and case management software.
- Prior experience with complex commercial disputes, breach of contract claims, business torts, and real estate litigation.
